You have the right to access your medical file, with the exception of the information that does not apply to you. Health care providers involved in your treatment also have the right to view data from your file.
The medical record is the responsibility of the practitioner or the institution where the practitioner works. Therefore, you are not allowed to take the medical file home. You may request a copy, however. As of 2019, healthcare providers are required to make medical data available digitally.
