Health insurance costs 2020

Within days after the government announced an expected rise of health insurance premium of ‘only’ 3 € in 2020, DSW insurance dropped a bomb. This health insurer, traditionally the first to publish next year’s premium, announced a rise of 6 €.

All insurance providers will have to publish next year's basic health insurance fees by November 12th. From that moment until the end of the year you have the option to change provider or policy.

Read all about what you can do to manage your healthcare costs in our special Health Insurance Newsletter to appear mid-November. Sign up here to secure your copy.

Join the Amsterdam dialogue on mental health and well-being

Shivantika (India) presents the findings of one of the Utrecht working groups

Many internationals have participated in the H4i survey on mental healthcare in the Netherlands. Following its findings H4i has organized dialogues between internationals and mental health professionals, some being internationals themselves.

These meetings, in Eindhoven and Utrecht, resulted in possible solutions to prevent or reduce mental challenges that internationals are facing. It was also discussed how to have mental healthcare in the Netherlands better meet the needs of internationals.

A third dialogue, that will focus on how to make these solutions work, will take place on November 11th in Amsterdam. Please sign up for this session, if you have something to say about mental health and healthcare and want to help improve healthcare in the Netherlands for internationals.
